Kucherov Inside/Outside Deceptive Rush
Great clip on how your players can use deception on the rush. Faking to the inside and exploding to the outside can have success on rush situations.
What to Watch
- Kucherov uses his eyes and body positioning (shifts his weight to inside leg) to sell that he is going to the middle of the ice
- As the defender commits to the middle he cuts back to the outside with some nice edge work to get around the defender
- He explodes to the outside with great edge work and body positioning
