This defensive zone face-off play can be run every once in a while to try to create an odd-man rush up the ice. All players in this play have defined roles that need to be carried out in order to have success.  Winning the draw is obviously the first key, but if the draw is lost your players are still in a good position to defend.  If run effectively and subtly this play can generate some great chances.  It's something that opposing coaches will adjust to, so we recommend holding this play up your sleeve for when you really need a goal.

What do you think of this play?  Do you have a different variation? We would love to hear you comments.
