This drill work on the angling of the defense when they are at a dis-advantaged position when their opponents are entering the zone. The defense starts with the puck, takes a couple strides into the zone, cuts to the middle and makes a drop pass to the forward. The forward receives the puck and then attempts to drive the net from the outside. The defense needs to use a good angle and good stick to limit the forward to a bad angle shot from outside the dots.
