This is a quick warm up drill that involves one drop pass and one cross ice pass before long shots are taken on the goalie at the other end. F2 starts with the puck and skates through the center of the ice. F1 starts at the same time and skates behind F2, receives a drop pass in the middle of the ice, then continues down the length of the ice and takes a long shot on net. F2, after making the drop pass, swings out to the boards and receives a pass from the second forward in line. F2 needs to delay slightly so that the goalie has time to set up between shots.
