This practice starts with a half ice shooting drill you can run on both sides. It then moves on to two drills that focus on D to D transitions and re-groups with the second drill adding a 2 on 2 situation where the defense need to gap up after the re-group. The practice outline is as follows:
- Transition Double Pass (10 minutes)
- Quick Hinge Warm Up Drill (15 minutes)
- Speed 2 on 2 Gap Up Drill (20 minutes)
- 3 Zone 3 Puck Full Ice Game (15 minutes)
