Here is the first option in a series of options that are useful on 3 on 2 zone rush situations. In this situation the puck is passed to the winger along the wall. The winger cuts to the middle in front of the defense and leaves the puck for the center. The location of the drop pass should be close to being inline with the dots. After dropping the puck then the winger stays in the high slot. The center drives hard through the middle until the blue line and then they cut to the outside behind the winger to receveive the drop pass. After receiveing the pass they need to look to make a play quickly. In this option they pass the puck hard to the back post to the far side wing who is driving hard to the far side post.
