This is a drill that should be ran often to go over your forechek and defensive zone coverage. This drill requires one line at a time who will start in the offensive zone and stop in the areas of the ice based on where the coach has the puck. The puck will move around the offensive zone and the players will shift accordingly always stopping when they get to their required location on the ice. Stopping like this at each spot will really help them remember their coverage when it comes to game-time. After the offensive zone, the players retreat to the defensive zone where the puck once again is moved between coaches with the players rotating and getting to their defensive locations.
What do you think about this drill? We would love to hear your comments.
