High Slot Shot, Turnover into 1 vs. 1

This drill is meant to challenge defense.  It is a good one to work on their full speed backward skating, transition, and shots from the high slot.  If you have enough players you can run this drill out of both ends just make sure players stay on their half of the ice on the 1 on 1 portion of the drilll.  D1 starts the drill by skating backwards out towards the blue line.  They receive a pass from the second defense in line and transition forwards into the high slot.  They take a shot from the high slot and then transition backwards to take on F1 in a full ice one on one situation.  F1 starts on the goal line and starts when the puck hits the goalie, boards, or back of the net.  Defense need to control their gap and attempt to stand the forwards up at the blue line.
