Mark off about 25 - 30 yards. Start in a lunge position and walk (maintaining the lunge position) the entire length keeping your head level.
Using the same distance do a slow walk that imitates your skating motion. Keep your head level, knees bent, and chest up. One foot should be on the ground at all times so you are not jumping.
This time you should jump as though you are skating. Try and get as much explosion as possible off of the one leg. As you land on the other leg try to stick the landing with your chest up, knee bent and maintain good balance. The goal is to not use your other leg for balance and go right into the next jump.?
